"MY LIPS BUT BETTER"

Oh, that phrase. Yet MLBB is the best way to describe this product albeit as an acronym.

First, a slathering of lip balm before the star of the lineup: L'Oréal Paris Infallible Lip Liner in Always ToastedThe perfect match for my lip colour (thanks to Lisa Eldridge and her post with suggestions for all skin tones). This muted mauve shade would suit very pale and fair skin tones. I don't always use a lip liner underneath lipstick, but it can fix a few 'inconsistencies' and make lip products look and last 10x better,.

I use this to outline before 'colouring in' all over, evening out the naturally uneven pigmentation of my lips. The colour is barely noticeable as it such a good match, however the finish is matte and uniform. And I'm good to go.

If I'm feeling more of a slightly pink tint, I'll then apply Clinique Chubby Stick in Whoppin' Watermelon over the top. (Am I the only one that doesn't find these at all moisturising, in fact the opposite, despite their name?)

What's your favourite lipliner or MLBB product?

P.S. Happy 2015!
