A couple of weeks ago I went to my first 'blogger meet', #oxmeet in Oxford. Myself and fifteen other bloggers enjoyed food, beauty chats, and being spoilt rotten(!).

The afternoon started off in Wagamama. This was a great ice breaker and before long, we were laughing at how acceptable it was some of us were snapping our dishes. We get it. This was also the first mention of many of ELLIE's quotes: "Everyone looks so glamorous, in their blogger make up".

Afterwards, we made our way to CRABTREE & EVELYN. The staff were so welcoming, chatting about the heritage of the brand and their cult products. Some of the girls took advantage having their nails painted, while I couldn't resist giving the hand pamper a go. Yep, I'm still thinking about that hand scrub. In the space of half an hour, we were given a Crabtree & Evelyn goody bag including a handbag-sized hand cream of our choice; I picked the Crabtree & Evelyn Rose Hand Therapy in Rosewater and have been using it every day since. Plus the huge goody bag ADRIENNE had put together. Cue a group of ladies thinking all their Christmases had come at once!

We then stopped for a coffee break, before another in Costa. Safe to say there was some enabling and products being passed around the group.

6pm: aa date with LUSH. A rose-themed evening, complete with handmade rose lemonade and vegan rose cupcakes. The staff were again, so welcoming and we really appreciated the personal touch. We were invited to try the EMOTIONAL BRILLIANCE colour reading and one-on-one skincare consultations, alongside obligatory perusing of the products. I was spooked at how accurate my colour matches appeared to be (decisive, wise, intuition fyi - traits I'd like to possess!). We were also given little tester pots of suggested products to try following our consultations, in addition to the lovely goody bags Lush gifted. There were also some glitter mishaps as MO and I couldn't resist the glittery bath bombs... (EVIDENTLY). Before we unfortunately had to leave, I was sure to ask for a sample of Jackie Oates - having had my eye on it for so long! - and popped a cupcake in my bag for the journey home.

A huge thank you to Adrienne for all her hard work in arranging #oxmeet and thanks to the girls, Crabtree & Evelyn and Lush Oxford for having us, THE BLOGGER PROGRAMME and all the brands that were involved. If you ever get the chance to attend a local meet up, don't pass up the opportunity! My only regret is I wish I'd taken more photos...!

Holding out for the vlogs...
