PRIME(R) TIME PICKS

The Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer is no stranger around these parts, I mean, this is my fourth tube in about four years. It may seem a small tube for the price, but when only using a teeny amount, applied to the areas where foundation seems to disappear during the day (T-zone and chin, looking at you), it packs a punch. All day. If you order directly from the Smashbox website, it's free delivery and also a deluxe sample of your choice thrown in.

An additional favourite in the primer ranks in recent months is the Benefit "that gal" brightening face primer. Having fair skin can make it difficult to achieve a 'glowy' look sans highlighter. With my usual foundation stippled on top, the light-reflecting pigments still show through, giving a healthy, natural glow. Glow in a tube. I've even had comments on how good my skin looks and am sure it's partly down to this. I'll be purchasing full size.

Is anyone else as obsessed with primer as I am?
