You know when you get your heart set on a particular shade of something? Be that a lipstick, blush or eyeshadow.
Mine was to find the perfect shade of mint nail polish.
I wasn't looking for a forest green or any autumnal green, more a very light pastel shade - not white, not green but inbetween. All the high street's offerings were that bit too green in the bottle. Then there was Essie's Mint Candy Apple but I wouldn't part with £7.99 for the brand that some bloggers love, while others don't. Yeah, you could say I was being rather particular.
I'd basically given up after a few weeks of searching for the one until I found Sally Hansen's Smooth And Perfect ColorCare in 07 Sea. It looked perfect in the bottle and so was worth a try.
Yup, it's good. It's the perfect colour and opacity after 2-3 coats, and I'm sure it's the quickest drying nail polish I've ever used. By the time I had painted five nails, then the other five, the former was touch dry. The quickest mani, ever. Plus the thicker brush lends to easy application and my nails feel super Shellac smooth.
No complaints here.
Have you tried any Sally Hansen nail polishes?
